JRC Combined Events
The JRC work together to provide a number of events throughout the year. Every event is open to all JRC clubs and also to any enthusiast of Rover vehicles.

Friday 3rd July - Sunday 5th July 2026: The Cumbrian Rover Rally,
After a break for a couple of years the RSR Cumbrian Rover Rally will run again this year over the usual 1st weekend in July (3rd – 5th).
As ever it will be based in Dalton In Furness and will run to the tried and tested format of pub meet on Friday, road run on Saturday followed by an evening pub meal rounding off with a road run on Sunday to somewhere of interest.
Exact routes and Sunday venue are still to be finalised but if you would like to come please contact Paul Gregory.

Saturday 12th September: meet at 10.00am in car park at Haverthwaite Railway, hopefully we will have a spot to display all the cars together. There is a small charge for parking. Those wanting to make a full day of it here can take a train ride to the Lakeside and then onwards by boat to Bowness or Ambleside. At 1.00pm there is the option to visit the Lakeland Motor museum at Backbarrow where we have an area within the grounds to display the cars, There is a very good cafe here too.
Sunday 13th September: assemble 10.00am at Holker Hall and display the cars, The grounds have wonderful gardens you may like to visit, Cars will be judged and results and awards will take place around 1.00pm. They have a very good cafe here and also do a good Sunday lunch, Please book on arrival if you require this, although snacks and drinks are available all day. Dogs are welcome here. The rally closes around 4.00pm.
The organiser, Gary Nelson, along with a few other members will be arriving on the Friday evening and staying at the Cumbria Grand Hotel at Grange over Sands, which is ideally placed between Haverthwaite and Holker Hall, around six miles in each direction, It’s a pleasant hotel and reasonably priced, dogs are welcome and entertainment is usually included on Saturday evening.
